SpendGuard

 

Unista SpendGuard is a secure, private-use application developed to help marketing and advertising teams proactively monitor marketing spend across various platforms. By tracking hour-over-hour spend data, SpendGuard identifies anomalies, spikes, or irregularities that may indicate issues requiring immediate attention. When a potential issue is detected, relevant team members are promptly notified.

SpendGuard is purpose-built to reduce delay in identifying and resolving campaign spend irregularities. Alerts are delivered hourly until a resolution is documented, ensuring critical issues don’t go unnoticed. Notified users must log a cause or explanation in the system to silence the alert, creating a searchable, auditable record of resolutions over time. SpendGuard is a private-use application and access is limited to authorized users only.

 

Job Collections

Customers will require one or more sources to be run together at the top of every hour to perform the necessary comparisons. These jobs can be seen together in a collection where the color indicates success or failure, the value indicates the number of accounts being run per source, and a live spinner to indicate which sources are actively pulling data.

Customer Configuration

Those collections are managed on the Customer page, where each source can be individually configured. These collections can span accounts and even authorizations, and adding one or more Customers per Account is as easy as separating each ID by comma (we do the unioning for you!). And no need to select fields, that is also baked into the process.

Connections

Each connection houses a separate authorization. Users can see which connections may have expired vs which are working without issue. To temporarily disable any Connection (or any Job), just click the eye button; click again to re-eanble.
