Background

A US-based SaaS platform company serving multiple business verticals 

Challenge

The company wanted to update the aesthetic of their SaaS platform without requiring an entire platform rebuild. The original platform was already well established from a framework perspective, therefore modernizing the underlying code would be time consuming and costly. They needed to keep the current framework in place, yet update the UI layer to give the platform a fresh and modern look, bringing it inline with the general marketplace and their competitors. 

Solution

Unista was already positioned with an understanding of the general design aesthetics used across similar business platforms. We were able to review the code framework in order to identify how far we could push the UI changes without requiring major code revisions. We also identified user experience updates that would be beneficial for their customers. Unista was able to provide a series of mockups describing the recommended changes, and how these changes both strengthened the platform’s resonance and gave it a modern design look and feel, all with limited code changes. In approaching the problem this way, we successfully implemented these changes in under a month’s time, providing a major overhaul with incredibly fast turnaround at a reasonable price.
